Description

My mom's barkada went to London for a week back in May. We basically did London on our own with a 2-day Hop-on/Hop-off voucher and just purchased a 7-day Tube pass. This was taken on our 3rd day. We had just completed a boat tour of the Thames River and got off by the London Eye.

The Palace of Westminster is where the House of Lords (Upper House) and House of Commons (Lower House) is located. The tower on the left was originally called the "King's Tower" as this is where the monarch would enter the palace for state occasions (like the opening of parliament). The tower on the left is the Elizabeth Tower which contains Big Ben (which is actually a bell).

Quite a cloudy day in London, so I maxed out my camera's DRO setting.

Impressive. I went on the London Eye to get my photo of Westminster because I didn't have a great lense for catching the whole scene on the ground - that and people were everywhere.
