URC Christmas Party: Phantom

Universal Robina Corp (Reuters: URC PS; Bloomberg: URC PM) finally had it's Christmas party as last year was cancelled due to Super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan). Each building had to produce a 12 minute Broadway production. Shows included Wicked, West Side Story (adapted as West Ave Story), Mama Mia, Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, and Dreamgirls.

After much discussion and despite the faulty audio, the independent judges awarded first prize to Phantom of the Opera (Cyberscape Beta). The award included P50,000 in cash for the performers. Holding the award is Lance Gokongwei, President and COO of URC.
