It's been a very long time...
I type this one year on after my previous desktop died. I'm glad to say that my current power house is doing fine: Windows 7 still loads before the Windows flag appears, and the Blu-ray burner my aunt bought has been installed and works perfectly.
Last year wasn't as fulfilling as I had hoped, photography wise. Our department at work didn't have our planning last year until right before we had to present our budget for the year so it was done at Holiday Inn.
However, I am glad that the trips I organized with UP Iris went well without much of a hitch: we went to Singapore in August

It's been quite a while...
I was supposed to finish uploading the last of my Christmas Australia-New Zealand Cruise last week, but one of my three internal HDDs died. It was already 4 years and 10 months old so I guess I had it coming.
I got it together when I initially built my desktop. Back in May 2008, HDD prices had just dropped so I did a quick survey of whether to get the Seagate 500GB or the Western Digital 500GB. Results were mixed, but my best friend told me to get both... and I agreed. 4 years and 10 months later, I can say that Western Digital wins.
It's not exactly dead... just in limbo (or a coma
IT... IS... FINISHED...
A week late, but still worthy of a journal:
My college life is over. I have graduated from the University of the Philippines with a degree in BS Mathematics! Fortunately, I'm not "unemployed"
but I'm not working
yet. I'm going with UP Iris to Cambodia for one last hurrah before work.
Here's a photo of the sunset over my college graduation at the Science Oval:
I entered the University of the Philippines with a camera
and I left it with the camera.

Happy New Year! 恭喜发财
I realized that it's been a very long time since I updated this journal and checked deviations. However, I actually still do check if people comment on my stuff or reply to my comments.
I've been very busy this year with thesis, exams, and Anno 2070. Yes, Anno 2070, not Skyrim as it's not my kind of computer game. Lately I've been going to job fairs in the hopes of avoiding the ranks of the unemployed here in the Philippines.
In other news...
My photos from the UP Lantern Parade were published by the Inquirer last Friday, 20 January 2012. :D
